Achievements and Challenges in Estuary Management

This month we have a pair of complementary speakers in Jeff Jansson and Bruce Coates who will discuss approaches to sustainable estuary management.  The Lake Macquarie Improvement Project, recently awarded the Thiess River Prize, has been a successful model for improving estuary health in a highly valued and impacted urban waterway.  The NSW Estuary Management Program provides funding, policy and technical guidance for diverse estuary management models in NSW.
