Caring for Water and Country – National Water Week

Water security is a key global issue. “Caring for Water and Country” is the theme for National Water Week (18 – 24 October) and HEI is proud to present a webinar integrating regional indigenous and water issues.

Claire Turrell (HCFMS) will be speaking about the work she did with traditional Owners as part of the Scheme review alongside short video with traditional owners, and Jordie Bates (HWC) will be speaking about the Aboriginal cultural research and engagement process as part of preparing the Lower Hunter Water Security Plan.
