Perspectives of Land Management

Local Land Services has been operating under its new structure for around 18 months, bringing together agricultural production advice, biosecurity, natural resource management and emergency management into a single organisation.

What have been the achievements so far, and what are the challenges?

Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council

The Darkinjung LALC since its creation under the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act
1983 (NSW ALR Act) has been located on the Central Coast of New South Wales its
boundaries stretch from Catherine Hill Bay to the North, Hawkesbury River to the South, Pacific Ocean to the East and Watagan Mountains to the West.

A brief overview of Darkinjung Land, how it is claimed, what is done with it and what are the risks.
