HEI Membership

As a community group, Hunter Environmental Institute is driven by the contributions of our members – industry leaders and budding leaders who are passionate and involved in various areas of environmental activity.

We have three membership classes:

  • Corporate members (shown below) – $500 for the calendar year
  • Individual (professional) members – $40 for the calendar year
  • Student members – $12 for the calendar year

Membership entitles you or your organisation to:

  • attend HEI seminars and events at a discounted rate
  • the opportunity to build your professional network and personal brand through HEI’s sizable member base
  • many avenues to build both technical and non-technical skills that will help you further your professional career
  • find and create opportunities for collaboration and innovation, and
  • promote your services to a relevant professional audience.

Please note that if you are an employee of a Corporate member then you do not require an Individual membership.

Become a Member

HEI’s members are rewarded by involvement with a dynamic group of environmental practitioners with understanding across a broad range of disciplines. Through involvement with HEI, you can develop professional relationships, develop technical and non-technical skills and broader your understanding of the environment that we interact with.

Members organise and run the regular seminars and webinars, which provide an opportunity for discussion and networking with others interested in environmental issues in the Hunter Region.

HEI endeavours to make the symposiums available to HEI members at a minimal cost, with profits being used as rebates for attending members, or to fund upcoming HEI initiatives. As capacity builds, in the future HEI will promote other symposiums on environmental issues relevant to members.
