About Hunter Environmental Institute

HEI is a professional networking and events body for environmental practitioners from all disciplines and sectors.

We facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing by hosting seminars and networking events to bring together the public, private and research sectors, students and the Hunter community. We host engaging seminars covering a broad range of environmental topics relevant to the Hunter region. We champion the next generation of environmental managers and scientists offering student prizes, internships, and scholarships.

What We Do

HEI hosts multiple events a year on environmental topics which encourage discussion among peers and a pathway to further knowledge and action with our amazing and credible guest speakers.

In addition, we offer event ticket sales, HEI memberships, corporate sponsorships, nominations to join the HEI committee, yearly internship positions, and provide scholarships.
