Construction Project Site Visit – M1 Pacific Motorway Extension to Raymond Terrace

Please join the Hunter Environmental Institute as we invite you to attend an exclusive site visit of the M1 Pacific Motorway Extension to Raymond Terrace project.

Our hosts for this event are John Holland / Gamuda Joint Venture (Black Hill to Tomago – Southern 10 km Portion) and Seymour Whyte (Heatherbrae Bypass – Northern 5 km Portion).

During the Site Visit, our hosts will take you through the active construction sites and provide an oversight of the environmental challenges and techniques engaged by the contractors this Critical State Significant Infrastructure project.

The site visit will take place from the Black Hill to Tomago site compound at 35 New England Highway, Tarro NSW 2322 on Friday 12 September 2025 from 14:30 – 17:00. Details of site access will be provided to ticket holders closer to the date. Unfortunately, there is limited access via public transport for this Site Visit.

The Site Visit will include a combination of bus travel and some walking. Visitors who wish to attend the Site Visit must ensure they attend the site free from the effects of alcohol, drugs and fatigue and have the minimum PPE requirements for attending an active construction site including:

Steel Capped Boots, Long Sleeve Shirt, Long Pants, High Vis Vest, Hard Hat & Safety Glasses.

Afternoon tea and light refreshments will be provided at the event.
