About the event
HEI is excited to host speakers from, City of Newcastle Museum, Transport for NSW and Fulton Hogan Contractors to present on the key environmental challenges associated with construction of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass - Rankin Park to Jesmond Project and wider Hunter delivery program.
The seminar will showcase the Newcastle Museum exhibition A Place Called Hollywood - Newcastle Museum, heritage assessments and archaeological investigation process, associated with the ‘Hollywood’ precinct as well as other general environmental and constructability challenges on the project site.
The aim of this seminar is to showcase this locally (and regionally) significant project, focussing on key environmental challenges and how they have been overcome/assessed/managed during the project.
The event provides a unique opportunity to inspect the exhibit with the museum staff who can provide deep insights into the artifacts and also the social aspects of the Hollywood precinct. Following the event is EnviroDrinks, hosted by the Environmental Impact Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) at The Clarendon hotel - all welcome from 6pm!
