Warabrook Wetlands Walk

HEI was thrilled to host its first face-to-face event of 2022 with a guided walk through the Warabrook Wetlands. Delivered in collaboration with the dedicated volunteers who care for the site, the walk offered participants a chance to explore the ecological and historical significance of the wetlands, located in Newcastle’s western suburbs.

Attendees learned about the local biodiversity, wetland conservation, and the community efforts that help preserve this important green space. The session was family-friendly and provided a valuable opportunity for nature appreciation and environmental education.
